About us
SEATEC is an underwater works company based in Igoumenitsa.
It was established in 2013 incorporating the knowledge, skills and experience gained from the company owner’s activities through 20 years of training and missions in the US and Greek Navy.
SEATEC operates throughout Greece, Europe and third countries abroad.
Diving standards and diving procedures comply with U.S. Navy and PADI diving standards.

Qualified Diver Staff
SEATEC has specialized diver staff and diving equipment for Deep Water underwater operations using mixed gases and High Altitude underwater operations.

ALEXANDROS M. MARKETOS
CEO of SEATEC
Born and raised in Athens, Alexandros Marketos is a man with great love and respect for the Sea, where from the very first years of his life his Professional path has been in line with the Marine Environment.
In January 1993 and at the age of 16, he enlisted as a Petty Officer in the Hellenic Navy.
His love for new experiences, discoveries and his tendency to belong to the Elite quickly led him to the ranks of the Special Forces and Diver Teams of the Greek and American Navy. In addition to the training and certifications he obtained from the Special Forces training where he served, he was trained and certified as a Salvage Diver by the U.S. Navy, quickly earning the U.S. Navy’s “Deep Sea” distinction.
His experience was honed during his service where he developed his knowledge of professional diving learning almost all types of diving work, especially during the last 11 years of his Service when he took part in many operations of the Divers Unit “Salvage Unit Two” with the Diver Team “Detachment Alpha” on the Submarine Ship “Mohawk” of the US Navy, in various parts of the World.
In 2013, after 20 years of Service and his highly successful career in the Greek and American Navy, Alexandros Marketos decided to retire.
In the same year, he founded SEATEC Underwater Services and the “Deep Blue Divers” PADI 5 Star Dive Center, continuing his dream and setting new and higher goals.
Alexandros Marketos now started working as a freelancer, building a large clientele in the wider shipping sector.
EFTYCHIA SKOURA
Naval & Mechanical Engineer NTUA
Eftychia Graduated from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) as a Naval Architect and Marine Engineer in 1999. She has Master’s degrees in Project Management (2009 & 2022) and Yacht Design (Politecnico di Milano 2022)
She started her career in 2000 as a freelancer in Greece and abroad in the field of Ship Inspections and Consulting. In recent years he has developed collaborations with Italian and other European designers – shipyards.
Combining her professional experience with her passion for luxury and life at sea, she developed over the years 360o knowledge of construction and processes from negotiations to design, engineering, construction and delivery of a megayacht.
Since the founding of SEATEC, he has been the company’s Technical Advisor and Safety Technician.
CHRISTOFOROS KIRIAKIDIS
Diver Supervisor • Salvage Diver • Mechanical Engineer
SEATEC Diver Team Manager
Christoforos is a graduate of T.E.I. of Mechanical Engineering in Thessaloniki in 1998.
For the first two years, he worked as a Mechanical Engineer in a Construction Company and then changed his career path by turning his interest to the Sea.
Since 2000 he has been working as a Professional Diver in Greece and abroad in the shipping sector. At the same time, he studied diving at the world organization P.A.D.I. and in 2013 he was certified as an Open Sea Diving Instructor.
He is a certified diver as a Technical Trimix Diver (Mixed Gas), Cave Diver, High Altitude Diver, Diver Rescuer, Lifeguard, and many other technical specialists in underwater work.
By combining his knowledge with his professional experience and his passion for the sea, he managed to distinguish himself among the Professional Divers in Greece, in all areas of underwater work.
Since 2014 he has been working at SEATEC as a Diving Supervisor – Professional Diver and is responsible for the staff of the Diver Team.
ANGELOS NOUKOS
Professional Diver
Angelos graduated from the Technical High School of Ioannina in 2010, with a specialization in the field of hydraulic systems.
He served in the Army Special Forces as an Amphibious Commando and retired in 2011.
In the first years of his career, he works as a security officer for the Mega Security company and begins to specialize in guarding and escorting important persons.
Also he has be working as armed guard escorting ships with the Maritime Security company ASPIDA in the Red Sea, Gulf of Aden, Oman, and the Arabian Sea as a team leader. At the same time, he work as a guard and escort for important persons in high-risk areas.
However, his interest in the underwater world and the Sea won his heart and he started working until today in the shipping sector.
He is a professional diver since 2015, he is also a Technical Trimix Diver (Mixed Gases), High Altitude Diver, and Diver Rescuer.
Since 2020 he has been working at SEATEC as a Professional Diver.
SPIRIDON ALMANIDIS
Professional Diver
Spiridon Almanidis graduated from the Vocational Secondary School of Drama City, in the field of electronics and electrical engineering.
He has been a professional diver since 2021 and is a High Altitude Diver and Diver Rescuer.
Since 2021 he has been working at SEATEC as a Professional Diver.
STAVROS KONSTADINIDIS
Dive Team Security Manager • Professional Diver • R.O.V. Operator
Stavros graduated from Panteion University of Athens in the Strategic Directorate of Private Security Projects with a specialization in Operations, Espionage, Control, Countermeasures, Organization from Washington D.C., and Crime Prevention.
In 1994, he began working as an armed security guard for various high-profile figures. During his professional career, he continues to be trained and certified in many areas of Security such as at the New York College “Strategy Command Management”, Hellenic American Union “CTOEF”, Security Consultant “Black Eagle” ISRAEL, Aviation Security Controllers “ICTS”.
At the same time, he was engaged in diving in the world organization P.A.D.I. and certified as a Rescue Diver, High Altitude Diver Lifeguard as well as other diving specialties.
His desire to be constantly in the arms of the Sea and his love for the liquid element led him to shipping and specifically to the field of diving operations.
Since 2014 he has been working at SEATEC as a Professional Diver, R.O.V. Operator. and Security Officer.
EVANGELOS KANAKIS
Mechanical Engineer • Professional Diver
Evangelos is a graduate of T.E.I. of Mechanical Engineering in Igoumenitsa in 2004 with a specialization as Mechanical Engineer – Moving & Geared Parts Engineer, Practical Engine Mechanic SPECIALTY “A” and Automotive Engineer.
Since 2004, he has been working at Antonis Kanakis SA. as a Technician of his specialties and specializes in all areas of his work with distinction in Special Weldings, Special Conversions, Special Constructions, High-Pressure Oil – Water Hydraulic Systems, High-Pressure Pipes, Exports of All Types of Machines, etc.
At the same time, he was engaged in diving in the world organization P.A.D.I. and certified as Rescue Diver as well as other diving specialties.
In 2010, his love for the Sea piqued his interest and he worked in the construction sector of shipping.
His knowledge and many years of professional experience made him stand out quickly in the shipping construction sector.
Since 2013 he has been working at SEATEC as a Technician and Professional Diver.
NIKOLAOS KOLIAS
Professional Diver – Mechanical Engineer
Nikolaos graduated from T.E.I. of Mechanical Engineering of Athens – Mechanical Engineer / Engineer.
In 1993 he enlisted in the Greek Navy and began working as a Petty Officer in the Navy’s Special Forces. In 1998 he retired.
In the same year, he started working at the company “Hydrodynamics of Athens S.A.”
In 2018 he worked at the Company “High-Pressure I.K.E.” specializing in High-Pressure Oil and water Hydraulic Systems.
At the same time, he was engaged in diving in the world organization P.A.D.I. and certified as a Rescue Diver, Altitute Diver as well as other diving specialties.
In 2014 his unforgettable love and passion for the Sea led him back to the shipping sector.
His knowledge and many years of professional experience quickly led them to the top of Professional Divers in the field of underwater work.
Since 2014 he has been working at SEATEC as a Professional Diver and Technician.
ANNA TERTSI
Office Management
Anna Tertsi graduated from the Multidisciplinary High School of Ioannina in 1998.
In 2000 she started working in Customer Management and Sales, at the construction company “Tertsi S.A.” where he specializes in the Construction and maintenance of Gas Stations.
At the same time, he studied diving at the world organization P.A.D.I. and was certified as an Open Sea Diving Instructor & Diving Specialty Instructor.
The love for the Sea and the underwater world turned her interest to various sectors of shipping.
In 2013 he started working in parallel at the Diving School “Deep Blue Divers” PADI 5 Star Dive Center as an Open Sea Diving Instructor, Client Management, and Personal Dive Center Manager.
Since 2013, he has been working simultaneously at SEATEC as Customer Management and Secretarial Support.

The field of underwater work includes several activities that require specialized training and equipment to be carried out in an underwater environment. These tasks may be performed by qualified professional Divers.
The main underwater works include the Inspection – Maintenance – Repair – Construction of floating shipyards, underwater shipyards such as ports, industrial tanks, pipelines, floating units and other port facilities. Also, Underwater Technical Works are carried out such as the installation, dismantling and upgrading of equipment, as well as the carrying out of underwater repairs to machinery, equipment and other systems.
Therefore, underwater operations are an important and demanding activity in many sectors, such as the oil and gas industry, shipping, the search and exploration of underwater areas, and the development of underwater technologies.
